The Cloud is defining the transformation of how we use IT, especially more so in the past one year since the pandemic with the lockdowns over extensive periods made it impossible to use on premise IT. Cloud based services emerged as the alternative to sustain Business operations as the work from home trend gained ground.
Fast forward to the present and it is widely believed that a hybrid work culture looks here to stay. And while that be so, the cloud services ecosystem has evolved at a brisk pace, ensuring the need for a Cloud First IT strategy as the way to the future for all organizations. Today organizations are embracing a multi cloud strategy to leverage the best of the cloud as well as making sure that they also have a hybrid cloud in place to have some of the critical workloads in their private cloud.
The Middle East region and especially the GCC is on the fast track towards adopting the best of cloud. The arrival of regional cloud data centres of the global public cloud service providers is also a key driver in accelerating the cloud adoption.
